All-
Some people are probably getting pissed at me posting solutions for simple problems, but I think they'll save a lot of time for the average builder. Or in my case, the SPED builder. This is a combination of ideas from listers that ends in an excellent installation:
MAKING BATTERY CABLES:
1. Crimp the terminal using your NicoPress tool. (Tony Graziano).
2. Solder the connection using rosin core and a low flame from a propane torch. (Jay Bannister).
3. Cover the joint using the appropriate ACS boot. (William Wynne).
Looks like a factory job, doesn't it?
People, this website is an amazing resource. Use it, don't pollute it.
Good building!
