 My question today has been addressed before but not resolved...."gear leg  shimmy". 

  

 I tried reducing the tire pressures as Buz suggested which seemed to  help a little. The shimmy begins at around 20 mph and increases significantly!  At times, the entire plane shakes. I have ordered a better set of tires from  Goodyear and will balance them during installation. Maybe that will help.

  

 Question: "Has anyone successfully remedied the shimmy  problem on a Lightning"? Maybe a strut brace of some sort?
