Wondering if anyone has installed a Vertical Power 50 (or 100, the 200 is a whole different animal) system and, if so, what did your backup system look like?

The "get home" system on the VP Web site would work if the control unit had already crapped out, but doesn't the fuse block prior to the control unit create a point of failure in normal operations? Is it serious?
