Just finished up on the pilot side wing (my 2nd) lower skin. I think that I remember some complaints on cavitation of the skins. In any case I was amazed at the precision fit and lack of cavitation on this skin. Note that I aggressively milled the front edge of the lower skin so that there was a 2000-5000 space between the skins. I am just wondering if by NOT milling down the edge to leave a space , that it forces the excess metal into the skin further toward the back resulting in the oil canning.........
I think a bit of extra space between the skins may be a good thing
