Hey all,
After trying to make the bends in the solid aluminum fuel lines, I have decided to go with the stainless/braided flexible lines. Can anyone recommend how much length to allow for the section of line exiting the fuse for attachment to the tank? I assume most lines are different on the overall dimension depending on the placement of the fuel valve.
Thanks!

I was originally going to use flexible lines also, primarily because of the tight bends getting into the tunnel and up to the Andair valve which in my case was mounted half way down in the tunnel making it even more of a challenge. I think I left about a foot hanging out of the fuselage on each side which should be more than enough. Ultimately I didn’t like the fact that I would have to replace them every few years and yanked them out. I ended up going to the plans design of AL hard lines. I did install a bulkhead fitting where the hard lines would exit the fuselage so I can use a short piece to connect to the tank.
If you really do decide to go with flexible lines, you might want to give Brett at Bonaco a call as I believe they have been working on a fuel line kit in addition to their brake line kit.
