Having seen 3 grown men struggling to install the engine with a hoist, I had anticipated a few problems doing the great deed.
I used the typical engine hoist borrowed from EAA Chapter 1073 (thank you verrrry much). But I also used the balance beam that was at the chapter along with the hoist. This enabled us to shoehorn the engine into the "ears" Verrry easily. We married the upper ears to the airframe first and then rolled the balance beam to drop the front of the engine and the lower ears just joined up with no effort at all. Try to get the pic attached
