Today I was about to start working on the center section of main spar. I've unpacked it (now I know, I should do it when itemizing the kit - I've just checked the presence of the spar) and I've realized that the serial numbers don't match. My wing spars # are identical but different from the center section. I've already emailed ZAC about it. Do you, anyone, have the same experience?

Pavel,
I recall some question about the matching of S/Ns of my spars/center spar
assemblies with my kit and emailed Zenith. Reply was that they were OK. (I
believe they use precision tooling to match drill/ream the attach holes). No
problem in assembly; however, for peace of mind you might want to line up
the three pieces on the floor and make sure that the "matched" holes do
align. Be careful not to scratch/gouge/mar these critical 12 holes.

Interesting, Pavel.
Mine are numbered:
R: 15144-13
L: 15144-13
C: 15145-13
I have checked the attach bolt holes for diameter--they are fine. But I
have not checked them for alignment. As long as they line up, is would say
that there is no problem.

It seems that those numbers are matching:
R: 15828-4
L: 15828-4
C: 15829-4
I was worried because when I checked the packing list, the number for center section wasn't there. I guess it will be fine.

I've attached pictures of the three spar data plates and paper labels from
my 2007-vintage QBK. The "81" number is the "manufacturing number" of the
entire QBK. I'm not sure what the work order numbers "6812" (torn label),
"6813" and "6814" on the paper labels represent. None of them are the serial
number on my plans (or even close).
Somebody at the factory in Mexico, MO (Caleb or Roger or Michael at QSP)
told me that when mine were made they were made in matching sets
(left/center/right). But that at some later time they had improved their
processes to the point that matching a set was no longer needed. I believe
that all the spars are made at Zenith/Canada.
I would definitely get an answer from the factory.

I've got answer form ZAC today. They can have 3 different numbers. As Caleb said, they are jigged and drilled not together but separately in fixtures.
