IMHO, I don't think you need that shielded wire.. I'd rather use the a/p
wire that's sold by Stein... Just an opinion though..

The answer to your first silly question can be found by following the link
below, Grasshopper.

My personal favorite is the cranial duel vessel retention system displayed
in the technical response number six.

or as someone else said get some servo wire from Stein (his will be less
expensive for what you need)
http://www.steinair.com/wire.htm

Or if you can't wait, then twist up some of your own. Chuck up the wire
you need in a drill, tie down the other end stretch it taut and roll your
own if you are aware of the wires that you are trying to control noise from
or to. Twisting won't have any appreciable negative effect on the signals
of the AP but will help with noise emissions and/or immunity.

Sorry, I don't drink and fly as my bladder is much smaller than my tanks
anyway, so can't answer the other question.
I do keep a capped bottle of water in the plane but nothing else. I don't
allow any cola in the plane because of what happens WHEN it gets spilled -
not pretty what phosphoric acid does down under the floor panels.
