Hiello, Just had the towbar back from a local engineering firm
and it works very well, it uses all the stock facory nosewheel axle
components plus the addition of two ally sockets, http://www.europaowners.org/modules.php?set_albumName=album279&id=P2120799&op=modload&name=gallery&file=index&include=view_photo.php ,
i can post or give you the contact details if anyone wants a set
made, there is no Mod required in the UK - just get it signed off,

Hi Steve,
Can you let me have the contact details. I was thinking of
making one myself, but yours looks good.

Cheers Danny G-c.e.r.i.

<?xml:namespace prefix="v" /><?xml:namespace prefix="o" /><![endif]--> Steve,
Here in the States I'm made a tow bar which will use, as we prefer over here, a double ended threaded bolt which can do double duty as a tie down on a trailer.

My towbar brakes down in half and uses a spring for closure. Can be made with a lock handle, but that adds weight and cost.

I need a translation, what is an ally socket?

See my website: www.customflightcreations.com under accessories and tips for my towbar photo.

Bud,
I'm pleased to report that the tow bar I got from you works great.
Especially appreciated by my 79 year old hangarmate, who can now move my plane to get his Jodel out.

It's almost flyable here now, although this morning a friend indicated that he could not get beyond the hangar fence as someone had snapped a key in the frozen lock.

<?xml:namespace prefix="v" /><?xml:namespace prefix="o" /><![endif]--> Dave,
I know what you mean, I can't live without mine now in the shop.
Hate to report that I got a sunburn spray painting some zinc chromate this morning. Our cold weather is gone down here in Florida.
