What is wrong with it may I ask? Yes, it is possible to repair it depending on what is wrong with it. I have taken several apart and have repaired them myself. It is not all that hard to do, just be cautious taking it apart. Now CALIBRATING IT is another story. Making sure it reads ONE G is a no-brainer, but beyond that... Not as easy.
