Hi Kolb Friends,
I'm a former 3 time Kolber and every year since my last MKIII (when S&F comes around), I go there to say hi to all and hang out with D. Kuntzleman - &&& kick MKIII tires again. I have another aircraft now but have roots in Homer's back yard : ). When you all mention the history of Kolb - darn does't it hit sentimental & warm feelings about those early times (not to dis TNKA). And I realize that we all have our fond memories of those times and that Kolb aircraft family. I've seen many of your PA born Kolbs get built & shipped; and met some of the owners who came to visit the PA Kolb Industrial Aircraft Complex (Homer's farm : ) Geeze, I remember Dennis flight testing the Lazer, (talk about seeing future business potential - can you say Vans/Rans) & then seemingly shortly afterwards telling me that he'd be moving & that his life would be all about his (then) little daughter for a long while.& nbsp;
I'm coming off of active duty (back home to FL) & am looking for help from anyone living in an airpark (in FL) who is happy there and could share some info. Rather than take up space here, please e mail me direct. I would appreciate it.
See you all at S&F & at Homer's on Dad's Day.
Thanks,
Jim Cote
PA/ FL
PS: Time to come back - Dennis : )
