Kev:
I decided on the 3 blade for 3 reasons:
1. the 3 blade (1700mm) will give more ground clearance for taking off
from tall grassy strips.
2. 3 blades are smoother than 2 blades
3. I know 2 blades are more efficient but I think (hope) that I will
be up against my personal VNE (130kts) at 5000 RPM with the
3 blade at 27 degrees. I will let you know.

Woodcomp on a Rotax 100 hp engine or any one who can compare the two
props.

MIkemthans for that , is your 3 blade variable pitch ? cant see getting
130 knts unless it is. A XL here would do 100 knts at 5000 butIm not sure
how he had the prop pitched. I would love 130 knts (at)5000 !
