While reading the upholstery link, Juan mentioned that as long as the engine and prop are balanced vibration should be minimized.
I installed my prop last night and will be doing engine starts soon and was wondering how to balance and engine and a prop?

for 250.00 aprox, you can google a dynamic prop balance person to do it for you. you put the results in your log book, it helps maintain the planes value.

I agree with Juan 100%.. The $250.00 figure is about the max I have ever seen for a good dynamic balance job.. I balance mine at every prop blade change and it averages 160.00 or so. It is amazing how well it reduces vibrations.. But ..... I still am a firm believer in Temperfoam for the seat bottoms. Probably the best 50 bucks you will ever spend. YMMV
