In the 52, if you lose oil pressure does the prop go to high or low RPM?

Before I answer this for you, let's think about the situation and what would happen if the prop went to coarse pitch or fine pitch.

What would happen if the prop went to fine pitch?

What would happen if the prop went to coarse pitch?

What do you think would be the way the prop should go if oil pressure was lost?

[quote] With counter weight constant speed props loss, of oil pressure allows the counterweights to set the blades to coarse pitch which is the least amount of prop drag, handy in case of engine failure.
