The Chinese landing lights are just not lasting for me. Does anyone have a mod they could recommend that would incorporate a halogen light or some other high intensity light that is reasonably priced. (<200 bucks)

Keith,
About your landing light:
1. They run really hot, so finger prints/grease on the glass is a factor, wipe them down after installation.
2. When you remove a TU bulb is the glass still tight in the metal base? If no, then you need to take some of the tension off the "ears" which hold the bulb in place. If the bulb goes in hard you may be damaging it during installation.
3. Have you checked the amount of amps/volts your drawing. Check both with engine not running and with engine running with gen light off.
About the inst screws:
I do have a bit of stock here, tell me which ones you need (for which instrument) and I'll see what I can find. Doubt I have a full set, but I might be able to help.
Always Yakin,
Doug

Replace the mount with a T-28 landing light (28v). It will require some riveting.

Thanks Doug, I'll check all of that. As for the instrument screws that was Mike Bourget inquiring about those.
Mike, what is the source for the T-28 light?
Thanks,
Keith
