I purchased replacement instrument screws for my CJ from my local Fastenal distributor. There's nothing spooky about them...just brass that has been black oxide plated. Any industrial distributor that sells fasteners should be able to get them for you. The only issues might be that you will have to buy them in a box of 100. Seems to me there were two lengths. I will check my inventory at the hangar.

Mike,

I replaced all mine with ss socket cap screws because I liked the way they look and an allen wrench is a lot easier than a screwdriver. Many of the instrument screws on the panel are 4mm There are however, many instruments that seem to secured with 3.5mm screws which are very tough to find. I used ss 6-32 socket cap screws which are "almost" the same. They worked perfectly for me. The only source I could find for true 3.5mm screws were hobby shops and they were pretty pricey.

I bought all my screws from Grainger. don't know if they are in Canada.
