I'll apologize first for not having done a search first on this topic. But reading the fuel flow topic has me thinking about L/D C lift over drag. Which translates into best range/fuel economy C best climb rate and best glide. Each of our aircraft will be slightly different C as drag factors(streamlining) C wing length and weight will influence final numbers and its associated angle of attack C but there should be some similar numbers for each model (KF2 C 3 C 4 C 5 etc). I am curious what those airspeed numbers are for those of you with different models. Most of the time we are trying to get somewhere...quicker. But on rare occasion it may be necessary to get every mile possible from each drop of fuel.

Speed for best L/D is slightly lower then speed for best range, due to propeller efficiency and specific fuel consumption is little better with higher speed.
