Hi,
I'm new in the list. Hello to everybody.
I have just bought a part of a YAK-52. It's with the original wood prop.
I have the oportunity to buy a MTV-3-b-250-21 prop.
Before buying it I'd like to know the following information:
1.- An idea about the improvement in performance compared with the wood prop.
2.- An idea about the improvement in performance compared with the MYV-9.Thi is
the prop I usually see installed in the YAKs.
3.-Is the MTV-3 interchangeable with the wood and MTV-9 props ? I mean Do I have to change the spinner, hub
    or other parts?

Thanks.

Jose,
Here is a link to a Service Bulletin on the MTV-3 propeller. http://www.mt-propeller.com/pdf/sbs/sb12d.pdf I would err on the side of caution and be 110% certain this MTV-3 propeller has had this service bulletin as well as any other SB's fully complied with. FWIW, the MTV props (3 or 9) have wood core blades just like the Russian paddle prop.
