Hey all,, in midst of my annual,, cleaning the mags checking the gaps etc.
where is the "felt" we're supposed to put a couple of drops of oil on and a "reservoir" that is supposed to be filled?
fast answer appreciated

Mike;
The end of the felt wick rides on the cam. The rest is coiled up inside a
small round metal can.----- DO NOT fill it up.
Remove the cover and check if the felt has oil in it. If it is dry give it a
few drops of engine oil. It's a judgement call, the felt should be moist
enough to wick a very small amount to the cam surface but not saturated with
oil.
Too much oil will foul the points and cause much trouble.
