Guys I am not totally happy with the holes through the top skin and nose skin into the spar top. I would like to drill out to A5 on the spar only. Does anyone see any issue with this?

Mark, it is perhaps not a good idea to enlarge the spar cap holes.
My inspector refused even to let me add a new set of holes in a spar cap
between
old ones. Anywhere else it would have been OK but not in the spar cap !
Call ZAC, they probably have an opinion on this.

One row of holes whether two holes or 20 does not affect the strength of the
spar.
If you try to put two Rows side by side (even if this were possible) then
the strength would be severely affected.

Think about looking at the cross section of the extrusion.

You deduct the diameter of the hole times the thickness from the cross
sectional area of the extrusion. This ignores the length and number of
holes.
