Thanks for posting this. I got one. Very impressive little unit. Spot also allow you to have a website that can track your specific unit. The Spot can be set up to update your position every 10 minutes. Nice for those family members at home that want to track where you are. This is in addition to the satellite 911 capability and the ability to send a text message to an e-mail address that says you are OK or that you need help.

Very cool little unit. I used one this past week during survival training in northern Arizona and was very impressed with its capes...
I also plan on using it when I fly on the Pavehawk...locally of course.
