That's because everyone is on the Zenith-List, reacting to the NTSB
report on the 601XL. There have been more than a hundred messages in
last several days!

I thought that might be the case but didn't want to miss out on any
constructive STOL conversations.
I'll resume my role as long time lurker, painfully slow builder.

Very Happy

The discussion over there makes glad we have a STOL list!

This week end we decided to replace the pieces of tyre from the main gear support. we made a piece of nylamid betwen the fuselage and the main gear, we then flew it and works great.

We did this: We installed the formed nylon piece (made with the Bridgeport) betwen the fuselage support and the gear, then we installed a (new) piece of tyre in the lower side, to avoid rigidity.
Works great.

Gary,

Could you post pictures or drawings of the parts and the installation?
