I read about half of the exedddingly vebose write up re balancing. Ataching wights to spiner is nuts. I had myh cherokee balanced in lawrencwille ga and then when I bought my 6a I took it to the same guys airport and had it done. Relatively cheep. $175. bolts with washers in the flywheel was used. Then when I changed engines where I now live, Fayetteville, Ar, I had a significant vibration, using same prop. I found some guys in Mountainview who balanced same way, only took several washers, and was $250, well orth it. You only need to do it once unless a change is made. It goes without saying of course, that the entire mass is balanced, not just the prop.
