FINAL REMINDER FOR JANUARY 13/14/15
5th Annual RV WEEKEND at Sun n Fun January 13/14 Departures 15th
Lakeland Linder Regional Airport (LAL) Tell the tower you are coming the
the RV Weekend at Sun n Fun Campus.

a reasonably accurate count for Saturday night BBQ Dinner.
(Rain Dates: January 20/21 Departures 22nd. In case of inclement weather,
a decision will be made Thursday morning 1/12/06 and POSTED at
www.sun-n-fun.org AND on this web site. You can also call Sun n Fun at
863-644-2431 or Laura Crook 386-935-2973 Thursday to check status)
Sun 'n Fun opens its doors to all RV Pilots, RV builders and anybody
interested in learning more about these fabulous airplanes. Come join us
for a weekend FULL of activities and friendship. EVERYBODY WELCOME
regardless of the type of plane you are flying now. (RVs will be parked
in central show plane area between the FAA Building and Hangar "A"). No
fees for attending or forums. Self pay for camping, food and Friday night
lecture (see detailed schedule below)
REGISTRATION located on the EAST SIDE OF HANGAR "A". You must register if
you want Pizza Friday night and/or BBQ Saturday night. Late arrivals on
Friday can register Saturday morning.
Camping for the weekend (no hookups): $15.00 per plane. NEW THIS YEAR:
You can CAMP UNDER THE WING or walk to the east side of the FAA building
if you prefer. Drive in TENT campers will camp at the east side of the
FAA building between the FAA building and the Media Center. Showers and
restrooms available.
Drive in instructions for CAMPERS including Recreational Vehicles, travel
trailers and cars with tents : Enter by the Sun n Fun Museum. The road
in front of the museum is Dolittle Rd. Take Dolittle Rd to the END. Turn
LEFT on Sun N Fun Road. Cross Laird. You will see the FAA building on
the LEFT on the camping area on the RIGHT.
Parking Directions for non-camping guests: Come in by the Sun n Fun
Museum, which is Dolittle Rd. Take Dolittle East to Peggy Brown Lane.
Turn LEFT on Peggy Brown Lane. This road dead ends at Hangar A where the
forums are held. There is a large area to the left of Hangar "A" PRIOR TO
THE STOP SIGN where you can part your car. Come to the EAST side of
Hangar A to register and pick up your agenda for the event.
BRING DRINKS for Friday afternoon - first chance to purchase anything is
for dinner Friday night.
Schedule
Friday January 13, 2006 Arrivals start in the afternoon
3 pm - 5 pm Camping Registration ($15 per plane or vehicle). EAST SIDE
of HANGAR "A"
3 pm - 5 pm Event Registration. You MUST REGISTER if you want pizza for
dinner ($5.00 per person for pizza and soda payable at registration). EAST
SIDE of HANGAR "A". Saturday night BBQ tickets also on sale Friday for
those who RSVP'd.
5:30 pm Pizza and soda in the Sun n Fun Cafe
6:00 pm Museum opens for snacks and drinks
7:00 pm Museum: Mary Dilda Champion Stunt Pilot will be speaking $ 8
per person ($6 museum members)
Saturday January 14, 2006
7:00 am - 10:00 am Breakfast Sun n Fun Cafe $4.00 per person
8:00 am - 3:00 pm Event Registration. EAST SIDE OF HANGAR "A". You MUST
purchase a ticket for the BBQ by 12:30 pm SATURDAY night if you want to
attend. Price $11.00 per person includes BBQ pork or chicken, corn,
coleslaw, beans, cornbread and choice of beverage

10:00 am - 1:00 Lunch Sun n Fun Cafe $4.00 per person
