All:
While doing routine maintenance on my Yak 52, I found a crack in the notched cooling louver door just below the air box on the top left side. It is almost completely through the metal covering the wood and the wood below feels cracked. Does anyone know of a source for the doors?

Contact Doug Sapp. I bought 3 from him. They are for the CJ but they work fine on a YAK.

Not too bad on the Yak 52 if the louver has the long screw that unscrews from the ring rather than disassembling the ring to remove the 2 nuts on the inside end. As Doc says though, if it's the type with the nuts on the end of the shaft, now THAT'S a real pain.
