Does anyone know if a peel-and-stick slip-skid indicator is on the market? Saw one once but can't remember where.

Tape a short piece of string on your cowl. Best indicator there is.

I got mine from WalMart Aviation Supply Co., in the recreational vehicle aisle. Came in a package of 2 for <$10. It is a bubble type inclinometer, which is more sensitive than the regular aircraft ball. I trimmed the superfluous edge material and mounted it with double-stick foam tape. Works very nicely. Since it uses a floating bubble and has the curve of the tube in the opposite direction from a ball indicator, it does work opposite from a normal indicator. That is you step *away* from the bubble, not on it. The fluid is dyed vaguely fluorescent and the bubble is very easy to see.

I uploaded a picture of my panel to:

How many hours did you fly sideways before you figured that out? Smile
