Can someone give me the approx wing tip height from the ground. I am in the process of fitting the wings and do'nt wish to cut off too much metal on the inboard side. Thanks

Hi Bob,
If you do cut off to much metal on the inboard end of a wing, it is easy to add a strip from the last rib to the final position you want. Actually, this is a lot easier than cutting the existing skin since you can fit a template to the fuselage (I like styrene plastic sheet for this) and later position it to drill for the rivet line on the inboard rib.
If you make a nice edge to the "Fairing" it looks like you planned it all along.

>From the fattest part of the bottom of the wing at the bottom of the tip plate is approximately 4' - 5". Geive me a couple of hours and I'll send you a narrative of how I did it along with a drawing and photo.
