I know that Falcon is insuring Lightnings, but does anyone else have insurance through another company for their Lightning or Esqual.

I have used Cannon Insurance in Scottsdale for years. Both with my Yak and Esqual. As you know, brokers a middlemen and bid it out to the 4-5 companies and offer aircraft insurance. My carrier is AIG, and the rates are reason. We also know that they will never fail, thanks to the Federal Government.

I have Avemco, who carry my Lightning, and my Alpi Pioneer. I have been with them 8 years they insured Fairchild
F 24 R and Fairchild PT 19. Bob Haas N330BH.

One question that comes to mind is that if you are already insured with on company, can you change? My insurance with Falcon did not go down even a penny this year. While I have not flown a ton, I do have additional hours. I thought your insurance comes down as you increase your hours?

Good morning Jim, Lack of claims, recurrence, more ratings, the Wings Programs make the insurance companies happy.
The underwriters always charge the rate, the odds. The difference is the profit for the Company I have never seen a rate drop except for

No, I'm in Virginia; I couldn't get hull insurance from them. Let us know if they change their mind; our other planes are insured with Avemco.

Just an update Linda.
I just spoke with them today and they are still only covering liability. They said that this is going to change in the near future.
No soon enough for me though as my coverage is up this month.
