Hi everyone
just checking off the last few remaining parts of my XL build and have a few Stainless steel rivets still left over.
Tried the search function but no success,I have them in the brake pedal hinges and the 2 in the elevator, but where else???
I would hate to leave them out..
Also checking the latest drawing updates on 6-B-7, the L angle between 6-B-7-1 top stiffener and the firewall said A5 I have A4.. Was this a structural change due cracking or loose rivets, I have A4 and will drill them out and change if that's what is supposed to be there
Chris..

I can only remember the use off SS rivets on the elevator horn strap[ I think ] but I used extras in places like the first or second from the ends on flap/elevaor/aileron hinges.wing skin ends, ailerons where you put the new mod angle and any other place I wanted extra strength .Make sure you use duralac to STOP CORROSION between SS and Al. Cheers

If you saved your packing lists you should be able to add up the number of rivets used and the component they are used in. Usually there are a few extra rivets included with the kit so they may be surplus to your needs.
