Lexan is a polycarbonate and you can cut it with almost anything. Thin can be cut with snips and thicker with any fine tooth saw( band saw, hand jig saw, circular saw, twist drills ,die grinder, whatever) Don't try this with an acrylic.

Larry covered most things for cutting lexan.
On straight edges i sue a hand plane to clean up the edges and use sand paper or emery cloth on on edges - rounded and straight take out and rough spots that can allow a crack or break to start from . I use grits from 80 up to 320 or higher.
OH and it you using rivets drill the hole a bit bigger before you rivet ann use alum rivets. Only place you need them is along the aft edge.
Rest can use small screws into the rib and an3 on windshield posts.

Not that it matters to me because I did it anyway when I replaced my windshield, but shouldn't ALL holes be drilled a little larger then the hardware going through it to allow for expansion and contraction? I think I used a 1/4" bit foe 10-32 hardware and it had about the right wiggle room.
