I was having a miss in my 912 UL along with a bad mag check on runup. I worked on this for a couple of months and finally found two things that I believe were causing it. One was a broken wire in the red power lead to one of the modules. I found this by using an ohm meter and a sewing pin which I inserted in the wire shielding as I moved along the wire. The break under the wiring was totally invisable on the surface.
The second thing I found was a bad plug. I removed the almost new plugs and "bomb" checked them under pressure. Sure enough one of them would not fire although it looked fine.
After those fixes,it is now running very smooth with no misses.
