I did a post to the aeroelectric list a few weeks ago when I replaced the regulator in my nippondenso alternater that came with my aerosport engine (40amp).

  Does anyone on the list know where I can get diode/rectifier parts for a 35 amp Nippendenso alternator (Vans #14184).  This is the second time I've had to replace them C first time was a loose connection C not sure about the second time and my local supplier can't seem to locate any.  I've traced it to an application for a 1975 to 1979 /Honda Civic 1.5 L but no one seems to have any parts.  Any other automotive applications that might work.  Thanks in advance guys.
