Section 28-2 step 2.  



What are they talking about?????



The nutplates are already installed on the fwd fuselage ribs.  The angles have nutplates installed in the next few steps.



The plans tell me to Machine Cntrsnk the inside of the fwd fuse ribs for a 426ad3 rivet.  There are no holes for this??? The angle attaches using 30 size holes.

I'll take a stab by just looking at the plans.  It sounds like the  

nutplates are supposed to be riveted to the angle with the rivets  

going through the rib as well.  The drawing shows rivet holes for the  

nutplates in the angle as well as the rib.  I think you are supposed  

to countersink the rib with the angle clecoed and then when you rivet  

the nutplates you do it with the angle clecoed to the rib.



Sorry if that doesn't help, but since nobody else had replied yet, I  

thought I'd try to help.

Jesse, I finally figures it out.  Van's changed the fuel valve and forgot to change a lot of pages in the manual.  I looked far enough ahead in section 36 to show the proper holes.  There are NO nutplates now that connect the angle to the fwd fuselage ribs.
