I have been flying the Dynon AOA with the Dynon pitot since last year. I replaced the Zenith pitot with the standard mounting kit available at Aircraft Spruce. I had to cut the down-tube  shorter, since it hangs down pretty far, but it seems to work well.  I simply enlarged the hole in the skin I had for the Zenith pitot, but no big deal. 



I think the AOA info is useful, but not crucial. I often refer to it when I'm slow and heavy. It's nice to hear the little alarm go off in a full stall landing.
