Thanks John, I got all of the stuff from Home Depot yesterday and kept the package in case someone else needed to know the part numbers. (the help there did not know they had them and I had to hunt them up myself) They come in 1/2 inch and 3/4 inch for 1/2 and 3/4 PVC pipe. I used the more expensive type of 3/4 pipe because airplane stuff is supposed to be more expensive,... right ? Anyway, the cheap PVC stuff was .89 for a 10 foot piece and the expense stuff was 4.95 so naturally I bought the high dollar stuff. The clamps were 2.95 for a package of 5. (See picture 295 for part numbers)

30 minute job,... done deal.

Now that's pretty neat! Between the Vans Diagram on an earlier post and this, I think I can get it done without any holes. Really like the joist hanger idea, never saw that before and it's a lot easier than adel clamps.

Thanks a bunch, as usual, the list is just an amazing source of almost instant information.

Thanks Bill S

Can't decide if this is a good thing to do or not. I need to run conduit in my QB wings but there are no consistent tooling holes anywhere except where Vans put the pitot holes and the one tooling hole above that. (actually below if the wing is right side up).
It would be pretty easy to put a 3/4 hole in place of the pitot holes and in the tooling holes above with a 3/4 step drill and a 4 foot extension but it would get pretty close to the spar. Is there an edge distance issue with this or does it even apply? Doing it anywhere else without the tooling holes is problematic?
Any comments, suggestions, pictures appreciated. <<...>>

RV7 only the wings left,….
This is what I did: CPVC? (lighter than regular PVC) and joist hangers from Big R Ranch Supply.
