Folks,

Perhaps I'm being particularly thick today but I could use a hand. I am starting on the elevator horns and something appears to be amiss. I haven't cut any metal yet so I'm safe, but I can't figure out from the plans where to make the triangular cutout in the elevator for 6-t-3-6.

As near as I can figure it's at least the length of the top flange on the skin (20mm) rearward from the front of the elevator, and at least big enough to take the 3/4 inch piece of extrusion (20mm).

How did you guys come up with that dimension?

Thanks!

Lee,

Check your builders guide 6-T-3A page 11. Third and fourth photo show where
it goes.

Awesome I found it there.

One more question, kind of nit picking now I suppose.

The bottom hole says "8 mm from the bottom bend". I basically laid a straightedge on the front spar and measured my 8mm from there. Is that right or should I start measuring 8mm from the flat, (after the bend)?
