Re:  The question about what gauges to combine with an EFIS, my panel has a

Grand Rapids Sport (with GPS and HITS) and a pitot airspeed as the only

backup.  Other instruments are water temp, egt, tach and fuel flow.  I plan

on a backup 12v. source (hobby battery) for the EFIS.  The GRT provides the

alt. data for the transponder.  No vacuum source at all



Plane is finished, waiting on FAA Cert. to go fly it--can't wait.
