Hi,
Just a minor point to check I've not done anything wrong.
I'm fitting Mod 70 from new rather than replacing. The instructions say use an AN3-10A bolt to hold the TP18B component in place. If I do this then I have about 3-4mm of unthreaded shaft pointing out from the other side. The instructions then say use an AN960-10L washer behind the nut but this is not thick enough to get over the unthreaded shaft. I believe the bolt I have is the correct item and I could obviously pad it out with washers but why not use an AN3-9A or something OR have I done something wrong?
Regards,
Phil

Phil
The instructions on Mod 70 page 2 are "Using the bolt, washer and nut from
the old assembly, bolt the TP18B to the arm assembly". The original build
manual specifies that bolt as a AN3-7A (Page 20-2).
I have an arm here and you are correct that an AN3-10A would leave 3-4mm of
unthreaded shaft. The AN3-7a is just the correct length.

Hi Ian,
Many thanks for that. I checked the manual to see what should have been fitted before but I now realise that the manual (even though quite old) was post Mod 70. I'll fit an AN3-7A then.
Best regards,
Phil
