If you ever lose your engine, but it still windmills, pulling the prop 

full aft will decrease your sink rate by several hundred feet per minute 

and will extend your time and distance to where you will meet terra 

firma. Could be a vital asset! I routinely practice dead stick landings 

this way. Just something to consider adding to your procedures.
