Hi all,
I have a 503 DCSI with Bing 54 carbs. Are the jet needles, now, supposed to be held in place with o rings, clips or both?
Just a side note. I found one needle bent (with an o ring) and the needle in the other carb was ok (with a rusty clip).
I Just bought this Kolb and I am finding all kinds of surprises.
Thanks,
Ray W.

Basically "both". Obviously, the needle is held in place with the circlip. Several years ago, they added the "O-ring" thing, to prevent the needle from wearing out. Note: This also included a new design white plastic "cup" (I forget what its called), that has a little recess in it to accept the O-Ring.
