A friend and I are working on a spreadsheet for W&B for my 701. It is attached for your enjoyment

Zenith, on their weight and balance form says the baggage area arm is 1050mm and the weight is 40 lbs.
Does this include the extended baggage area? My baggage area is separated by a cargo net.
Do I measure to the center of each area?

Just finished my oil access panel on the cowl completing construction.

That measurement is probably to the center of mass of the baggage
space. You could use two measurements for your two baggage areas if
you want to. It could be useful in some situations.

This spreadsheet is easy to modify for any aircraft. Go to page two to change the flight envelope data points, the datum, arm distances, weights,
max fuel, Aircraft Title/Ser# and you are good to go. One big advantage to this one is the W&B is recalculated and graphed several times to show the entire flight.
After it is set up you can run several senarios to provoke any extreme loading situations that might be possible or play what if should you change a battery location etc.
