The other victim was not his Canadien friend, but his brother with Canadien
citizenship.
His brother was also married and has had 3 children, too ... .
Total tragic.

It appears as if the plane was circling before disappearing
on 15.9.2010 at
19:20. The two male passengers were on their way from
Holland (Texel Fly-Inn
?) to CZ.
Gives me the chills every time and I feel sad for the
two, their families
and friends.

You are right Karel, there are too many accidents caused by pushing the weather due to "get-home-itis". We must keep in mind that our little airplanes are not designed for that and most of us (at least in Europe) are VFR pilots only.
I met Jiri/Georges at the RSA fly-in in Vichy two years ago and had a short flight with him, as he wanted to have my own feeling on the vibration level of his Europa Monowheel OK-EXS.
A very nice guy. I will miss him. My thoughts go to his young family.
