Hi Ernest,
Suggest you use an automotive synthetic rubber hose with hose clamps.
These last nearly forever
and can be checked annually.
The riveter from Zenith is a good bet if you've a few A4s that need to
be installed with a dome head.

hello all. I pulled my wings off this weekend and trailered my plane to the paint shop. I had to cut the fuel lines, wires for strobes, and the pitot tubing.
What sort of fitting should I use when I re-connect the pitot tubing?
I see also that Zenith has a riveter that has a special domed head on it. Do I need to buy this riveter or can I use the one I have? (A4 blind rivets)
As always, thanks for your help.

Yes you will need the domed head. You can make your own. Head the flat
head one with a torch, propane will do) just until the color changes.
That is to lose the temper. Then use a bigger drill bit to drill it out
a little. I forget the size drill bit, but I'm sure you can figure it
out. Larry, N1345L
