I'm working off Z-16. Rev M. I have the Cessna type split master. For the sake of argument, if I were to eliminate the Alternator OV disconnect relay, then would I simply interrupt one of the yellow alt wires with my master in order to take the Alternator off-line?

Yes, if you wanted to load the switch that heavily.
You wouldn't have OV protection either. Recommend
you keep the relay.
