I went to Walmart and bought a 3.5" speaker (Automotive / aviation) and then radio shack for a plastic enclosure. Drilled a series of holes in the enclosure and mounted it on aluminum angle under the panel facing down at the floor. It's nice to be able to get ATIS before engine start and not have to put on the head sets.Jim Combs (N312F - 120+ hours - Young Eagles this weekend)-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------> RV10-List message posted by: "AirMike" <Mikeabel(at)Pacbell.net>I got an inexpensive one at Fry's Electronics in Calif. - There, you canalso get a nice durable and inexpensive grill to cover the speaker. There is a specific OHM requirement which is probably in the manual forthe audio panel. I cut a hole in the side panel at hip level in the rightside of the back seat. Seems to work fine, but with all the excellentheadsets out there - not sure it is really needed.--------OSH '10 or BustQ/B Kit - phase 1Read this topic online here:http://forums.matronics.com/viewtopic.php?p 67323#267323Attachments:http://forums.matronics.com//files/pb210504_182.jpg [quote][b]
