I recently talked to a guy who had experienced 3 engine outs on his Challenger because of the sealant he used in/on his fuel tank.

Thus I ask this question... What is a safe sealant to use to seal the threads on the drains on my wings and on my gascolator.

Thanks much.

Use Sealube or Ez- turn. You can get it from Aircraft Spruce. Teflon tape or paste is suicide!!

Yep I agree it is also known as fuel lube its what I've been using for the last 20 years on fuel fittings works great.....Its also great for holding screws or anything else on the end of your screwdriver when in tight places. Its sticky stuff so if you need something held in place temporarily its what I grab first.
