Nose wheel fork failure/ why not fix problem?

My question is:

If you guys knows that the XL "lands hard on the nose tire", why aren't
you veversing your MLG "spring assembly" ?????

This was to be a correction for the "heavy nose, landings". Simple fit,
remove main landing gear, weld notches closed,
reverse gear, make new notches.
