Dave

I also have a four and went for years without upgrading. However, I think the compamy reccommends it and I finally chose to upgrade just so I could quite thinking about it.

HI, I am in the final steps of repairing my model IV. I notice that my sstab struts, supplied with a skystar/denny crossover kit from '91 have the smaller 3/16 attachements. Is this an issue worth attention, should I upgrade to the 1/4" ones?

I have the 3/16' ones as well. Almost 1500 hours on it now and no problems.

Most the the issues stemmed from improper handling of the tails.

just DO NOT grab the struts on horiz stab.
