I have an Grand Rapids Technology EIS 2000 with 4 CHT readings on my Jabiru 2200A (#1574). I plan to exchange two of these CHTs for two EGTs. This is a pusher configuration and I'm would like to know which of the four cylinders should I monitor for Max and Min EGT.
Are any of the four cylinders likely to show a higher or lower EGT than the others in a pusher configuration?
If there is not a lot of consistency or much difference between max and min, then it should not make that much difference which ones I monitor.
I may end up drilling holes for EGTs in all four exhaust tubes and monitor them all selectively with a switch.
Thanks in advance.
