I was reviewing some items on the Van’s part list this morning. I discovered two door struts on the list. The first is the standard C-1016 for $39 and the second is a C-1016 HD 600N Heavy Door Strut.
Does anyone have any information on this second strut?

I replaced my vans struts with the heavy duty and have eliminated wind and door closing problems. Robert

After our RV-10 was completed and flown, with the complete interior, we discovered the standard door strut is not sufficient to keep the doors open – we are biting the bullet and ordering the heavy duty struts.
